Abstract
Today we have a growing understanding of the problems related to petroleum products. Climate change has caused in large part by Co2 emissions and the biggest man-made source of which is transportation. An epidemic which is closely linked with particulate matter has caused serious problems and severely affected the environment associated with fossil fuels.
Technology and science has created ways to make bio-based products such as gasoline, diesel fuel etc, less expensive and adaptable. The prospect of a society with much greater use of these products is often referred to as either the “bio-based future”. Significant resources are being invested in this future.
Biofuels get the most attention, and have the greatest investment; for good reason, the prospect of replacing the black gold that our economy runs on is exciting and potentially lucrative. This paper looks into the implications of biofuel production in India as well as in other countries and also studies ecosystem worst condition that leads to climate change.
