Abstract


This study investigated the effects of Generative Learning Strategy on the academic performance of secondary school students in physics in Otukpo LGA of Benue State. The design of the study was quasi-experimental. A total of 824 students from six schools out of all the schools in Otukpo educational area took part in the study. A 25 item, multiple choice “Students Performance Test in Mechanics” (S.P.T.M) was designed by the researcher to collect data. The S.P.T.M. was validated and trial tested to determine its reliability.
