Abstract
Ozone layer plays an important role in protecting the earth from the harmful ultra-violet rays coming from the sun. The ultra-violet rays of the sun are very dangerous as these rays have the tendency to raise the temperature of the earth very quickly. Before reaching the ultra-violet rays on the surface of the earth, these rays have to pass through the ozone layer in the atmosphere.
