Abstract
Travel writing has always known for its popularity before it actually developed a consciousness of its own. It has always occupied circulation, be it in form of spiritual writing and even as nonfictional aesthetic writing. From medieval period, through the age of Renaissance to modern era, travel writing has acquired new attributes in its formal aspects with the coming of each new era. Travel literature as subject has always been considered as an essential part of literature.
