Abstract
In today's competitive global business environment investment are required for growth and development .FDI as an investment tool is an integral part of open and effective international economic system which acts as a catalyst in the development of a country. In this paper we have attempted to identify issues and challenges associated with FDI in India. India is offering a large domestic market, low labor cost, a well working democracy, pool of natural resources and most importantly positive attitude of government.
